« on: Wed 06 Aug 2025 16:15:46 »
Initial reports have been received from multiple sources that Col passed away yesterday 5 August aged 89. Every report says "more to come later" I'll post more if someone doesn't do it first.

RIP Col.

I've been expecting this news.... he has been unwell in recent times.
Col was a ground breaker in the Australian music industry, leading the way for the many who followed in his footsteps.  :yr:]

I thought the Melbourne News stations did a great coverage & tribute for him tonight.

And I learn't something new - that Col was the first person to recognise the talents of the Bee Gees

Another Australian legend is lost

RIP Col Joye
