G`Day Lads, Phil here, got my handle back in my younger days of miss spent youth and (apparently) alcohol induced temper, I`m a placid oldie now, according to my son.

I try to keep up with modern music but I`m finding it harder to leave me love of 70`s & 80`s Oz rock.

I still have a fair collection but, unfortunately, most on cassette, guess you could blame damn near living in my old `71 Monaro for that.

I`m gradually replacing albums as I find them but most stuff just isn`t there any more..sad.

Anyways, I hope to hang and, if possible, contribute,.

Cheers, Phil.

Welcome Phil, and thanks for the comprehensive intro. Good to see another 70's-80's tragic here: you're in good company. Make yourself at home here and join in where you can. You may be pleasantly surprised at just how much of that stuff you have on cassette is still around.

Hi and welcome to the Forum Phil. And thanks for taking a moment to introduce yourself. Plenty to see and do, and any contributions are appreciated.

I still have fond memories of the 8-track player that use to take pride of place in my '72 HQ/SS. The head unit and a bunch of cartridges sat in a box in my shed until I finally got rid of them about 15 years ago.

Cheers
