When Things Go Wrong

I've been a bit quite here over the last couple of months.

I knew my old computer was on its last legs and I had actually bought a replacement mid last year but when I discovered I couldn't import my old media library to the new machine I decided to run the old one until it dropped. Early December my old computer finally gave up and I lost all the playlists (including tracks I had marked to post) and had to re-import all the music to the new machine. So now I've had to spend six weeks of spare time trying to reorganize the 370k+ audio files I have into something usable.

Hopefully I'll finish sorting them out in the next week or two and then I'll be back.

Luckily I didn't lose any audio files as they are all stored on external RAID arrays.

It always pays to have backups Sunny... that's definitely one thing this digital era has taught us... convenience YES.... infallibility NO.

Thanks for all the hard work you put into this forum!!

Cheers,

Oz
