Something about grandma stepping up into the 4WD...
« on: Sun 22 Apr 2018 06:17:20 »
Hey guys, I heard a track about a year ago on Coast FM, all I can remember right now is I think it was the chorus, that said something about pulling the 4WD up close to the kerb so grandma can step in. Any ideas?
Told the missus I'd make her a car out of spaghetti
Should've seen her face when I drove pasta

Hmmmm, nup !

I only came up with this....

[Intro: Conor Maynard]
First Car - G.O.A.T

Pulling up on em'
Skrt

[Verse 1: Jack Maynard]
First car looking like a lambo
Spend 500 now the man broke
My engine keep blowing like a candle
More horse power than your grandma can handle
0 to 100 left a 12.5
Broke down 3 times no I ain't gon' lie
Seat belts don't work that's a hell of a ride
And I'm sorry about the smell
I think something died in here
Man I need some frebreze (some frebreze)
Broke the window so I'm sorry about the breeze (about the breeze)
Born in 94' car from 93'
My first car made before my parents made me

[Pre-Chorus: Conor Maynard]
This ain't no drop top, this ain't no coupe
Still I pull up straight flexing on you
My momma said I can stay past curfew
I got until 2, yeah

[Chorus: Conor maynard]
Oh baby I'ma pick you up
Hold on cause my doors don't shut
Oh baby if my car break down
I'ma drive while you push it out
Oooooh yeah
This ain't no drop top, this ain't no coupe
This is my first car watch gon' do

[Verse 2: Jack Maynard and Conor Maynard]
Yeah, in my 1.2
I'm going in
Chilling in my first car
If you need a ride, hit me up
I'ma pick you up, I don't care how far
To be honest I don't even care if you're a stranger
Don't need no gas money
My mom filled my tank for me
So we're all good
And I ain't got an aux cable
Man I barely got a break pedal
Yeah Yeah
I'm with my boys and we cruising down the avenue
In a 30 zone but we doin' 32
My ac don't work but I'm still cool
And if you're waiting for a bus
You're a damn fool

[Pre-Chorus: Conor Maynard]
(First car)
This ain't no drop top, this ain't no coupe
Still I pull up straight flexing on you
My momma said I can stay past curfew
I got until 2, yeah

[Chorus: Conor maynard]
Oh baby I'ma pick you up
Hold on cause my doors don't shut
Oh baby if my car break down
I'ma drive while you push it out
Oooooh yeah
This ain't no drop top, this ain't no coupe
This is my first car watch gon' do

[Bridge: Conor Maynard]
Oh oh oooh (x4)
My first car (x4)

[Chorus: Conor maynard]
Oh baby I'ma pick you up
Hold on cause my doors don't shut
Oh baby if my car break down
I'ma drive while you push it out
Oooooh yeah
This ain't no drop top, this ain't no coupe
This is my first car watch gon' do

Eat your peas !! :)

Nope, that's not the one, but thanks for trying :) I've sent an email to Coast FM, hopefully they can figure it out!

I think I found it for you:

Bob Leary

Jazzenodians

Just the other morning, about the break of day,
A couple emerged from a dim cafe,
A great big car was waiting to take them far away,
And I was most astonished when I heard the young man say:

I won't you roll the patrol a little closer to the curb,
Grandmother can't step that high.
And won't you back it up a little, please brother,
Last week she slipped, and fell down in the gutter.

And could we drive past the mill,
You see Grandpa he works there still,
And it'd be nice if we could wave as we drive by.
O won't you roll the patrol a little closer to the curb,
Grandmother can't step that high.

--------------

I won't you roll the patrol a little closer to the curb,
Grandmother can't step that high.
Grandmother's usually so quiet,
I'm so sorry she started that riot.

And how she got out of hand, I simply don't understand,
Cos all she had was sixteen shots of rye.
O won't you roll the patrol a little closer to the curb,
Grandmother can't step that high.
