Not having been into the genre of the bands you mention in my youth I'm usually none the miser he was obviously a giant among his peers RIP Danny Thompson.
That he was, both in the fields folk and jazz, but he played with an incredibly diverse group of artists. Without knowing it, you will probably find that you have quite a few of the albums he played on.
