Ratso:
I've noticed over the years that a lot of users have had issues with Mega downloads freezing. Now I'd never experienced that myself until a few weeks ago. I've tried using different browsers, but the freezing still happens. Typically I keep resetting, and eventually the download will finish.

Has anyone else had this problem, and more importantly found a way to beat it?

I've had the freezing problem a number of times the worst was one froze as it decrypted so painful,  it usually d/l super fast and other times so slow. But fingers crossed it's behaving itself for the time being. :shithappens:

Ratso,

I've experienced this problem for the last 6 weeks or so... maybe a little more.
I switch between Chrome and Edge but it makes no difference. Like you, I just keep trying and eventually the download works.

Cheers,
RAM

Whenever I encounter these problems I just hearken back to the days of Dial-Up anyone miss that.  :hellno:

SunnyToo:
Dial-Up. That would have been LUXURY.

Back in the day (late 1970s) when I was doing Fortran/Cobol programming I used a portable teletype through an acoustic coupler to access our work mainframe from home. No screen involved. Just keyboard and printer. Transfer rate was measured in Bits per second; not kilobits, megabits or gigabits; just plain Bits. And after you'd finished whatever you were being paid to do you could relax with a text based adventure game:

"You are standing at the end of a road before a small brick building. Around you is a forest. A small stream flows out of the building and down a gully...". [If you're of a certain age and were involved in mainframe computing you'll know what I'm talking about.]
